Do customers in the forecourt bistro take the bait for branded snacks?

Do customers in the forecourt bistro take the bait for branded snacks?

We know that customers – especially when they spend little time at the point of sale – like to rely on brands they know. „No experiments“ is therefore often the motto when shopping in the forecourt shop, and the hand reaches straight for the branded product on the shelf.

Whether this purchasing behaviour can also be transferred to the food service offer is what the experts at Bormann & Gordon investigated as part of their „Mehrwertstudie“ (added-value study) for LACTALIS HOLLÄNDISCHER KÄSE.

The hero of the experiment: a cheese roll – sometimes without, sometimes topped with „Leerdammer“ branded cheese and labelled accordingly. The results were as clear as they were impressive.

See for yourself – and find out how this brand concept could be pushed further in the bistro business: here!
