What the monitor measures
B&G visits a set group of pharmacies four times a year to assess the POS situation. The monitor follows a multi-client approach: you carry a fraction of the cost of your own survey and still receive a complete, comparable data basis.
-
01
Which products are visibly offered on the shelf?
-
02
What is the quality of placement like?
-
03
Which advertising is visible?
What the results are used for
-
Control and evaluate the sales force
Results by sales territory. You see where agreements hold and where they do not.
-
Check pharmacy associations
Measuring POS execution in pharmacy associations: in line with agreement, yes or no.
-
Evaluate the sales impact
Together with IQVIA we link POS data with sales information and evaluate the impact of different POS scenarios.
-
Read trends across the years
Because the same panel has been surveyed since 2008, you get time series instead of snapshots.
